Role and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and rating agencies within approved disclosure parameters.
- Plan and execute investor engagement activities, including results briefings, analyst meetings, investor conferences, and site visits.
- Coordinate quarterly and periodic results processes, including investor presentations, senior management talking points, and analyst Q&A.
- Develop and maintain clear, consistent investor messaging and oversee investor-related content on digital platforms.
- Support investor communications on major corporate developments such as M&A, strategic initiatives, and corporate exercises.
- Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, peer developments, and research coverage, providing insights to senior management.
- Lead sustainability-related disclosures and communications for the investment community, including the Sustainability Report and emerging frameworks (e.g. TCFD, IFRS S1 & S2).
- Develop investor-focused content for Annual Report, including Management Discussion & Analysis, in close collaboration with Finance, Corporate Communications, Company Secretarial, and Sustainability teams.
Job Success Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree (e.g. MBA, Finance, Economics or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- 7-15 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or financial communications within a publicly listed environment.
- Strong financial acumen with solid understanding of financial statements, valuation fundamentals, and capital markets.
- Excellent writing and editing skills at investor and Annual Report standard.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders with sound judgment and governance awareness.
- Industry exposure to oil palm and/or oleochemicals is an advantage.
- Familiarity with sustainability and ESG disclosures (IFRS S1/S2, TCFD) preferred.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, or recognised IR certified are desirable.
