Job Summary:
Are you a technical expert with a passion for electrical engineering and measurement and control technology? Then we’re looking for you! As an EMR Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, calibrating and improving electrical installations and measurement and control systems within our production environment. You’ll ensure that processes continue to run smoothly, with a focus on safety and quality.
What will you be doing?
Position in the Organization:
You will be part of a talented team of mechanical and EMR technicians and will report to the Maintenance Manager. Our team consists of 17 maintenance professionals, all of whom are experts in their field.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, inspection and repair of electrical installations and control equipment.
- Calibration and testing of measuring instruments (temperature, pressure, flow, etc.)
- Identifying and rectifying faults in measurement and control systems
- Contributing to improvement projects and modifications
- Documenting and recording maintenance work in the maintenance system (SAP)
- Compliance with safety regulations (NEN 3140, ATEX, LOTOTO, work permits, etc.)
Job Success Requirements:
- Level 3 or 4 MBO qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or equivalent;
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
- Demonstrable work experience as an E&I technician, maintenance engineer or similar role within an industrial environment
- Knowledge of industrial automation
- You work accurately, independently and in a solution-oriented manner
- Willingness to work on-call shifts (if applicable)
- Knowledge and experience of reading electrical diagrams and working with PLC/DCS control systems, preferably Siemens S7. Measurement and control technology
- Knowledge of NEN 3140/NEN 3840 and experience with SAP is an advantage
- You are self-reliant, proactive, able to work under pressure, flexible and analytical
- An affinity with software is an advantage
- You hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) or are willing to apply for one
