Job Summary:

Provide service to maintain plant asset and to ensure all plants equipment operates smoothly, efficiency & safely.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all plants equipment operates smoothly, efficiency & safely.
  • Carry out breakdown repair, plant shutdown activity and troubleshooting work to enhance plant reliability, reduce downtime and improve OEE.
  • Ensure all works carried out are done in conformance with the site safely work permit system.
  • Carry out plant equipment reliability checking where appropriate.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Communicate with superior on job status and necessary support needed to complete the job.
  • Practice SSHE work culture with excellent housekeeping behaviour.
  • Able to work long hours and shift.
  • Report all forms of defects to R&M executive for immediate action.
  • Able to report during emergency situation.
  • Perform any task assigned by management when need arises.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Job Success Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Certificate in welding technology
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in chemical plant will be added advantage
  • Competent in handling lathe machine, milling machine, grinder and other common workshop mechanical equipment.
  • Skill in pump repair and maintenance
