Production Supervisor-Splitter & Distillations

Job Summary:

Responsible for shift operation of the process plant related to productivity, product quality, field/plant overall cleanliness, plant ownership, maintaining staff discipline including manpower arrangement, staff training and also on safety aspect.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the smooth operation of plant in meeting production target as well as quality products 
• To perform plant rounding during operation and shutdown to ensure plant operation is in order. 
• Monitoring on the sampling of the feedstock, intermediate and final storage tanks as stated in PT PSS Quality Plan  
• Monitoring and recording the daily ullage of feedstock, intermediate and final storage tanks 
• Ensuring the work request, work permit system and quality system are being adhered strictly. 
• To identify any potential contamination issues and ensuring corrective measures are being adhered. 
• Implement TPM in the plants and any other assignment related to plant maintenance and equipment reliability.  
• Providing on job training (OJT) to new and existing technician to ensure their skills and knowledge as per SOP. 
• Involved in safety/product safety program organized by SSHE Department or management. 
• To carry out any other work instructions from superior at any time. 
• Responsible to support each other within shift team member during any absence by the teammates.

Job Success Requirements:

• Minimum D3 (Diploma) in any suitable discipline. 
• Willing to work in shift and as a team. 
• Applicants should be Indonesian citizens and hold relevant resident status.

Additional Notes / Desirable Skills / Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing factory. Priority given to industry such as chemical/oleochemical/refinery/palm oil mill industry. 
• Knowledge in computer will be an added advantage 
• Knowledge in Distributed Control System (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) – added advantage 
• Able to speak in English will be an added advantage.
