Every year in early October, a variety of industries meet in the desert of Las Vegas for the SupplySide West trade show.
A number of industries do attend including dietary supplement, food, beverage, animal nutrition, personal care & cosmetic, pharmaceutical, packaging and sports nutrition companies under one roof.
Those familiar with the exhibition might notice something slightly different this year in terms of the booth name. Usually participating under the DavosLife banner, the booth name had been changed to KLK OLEO starting this year. The switch however, did not come as a surprise as DavosLife is part of the KLK OLEO group, a global supplier of oleochemical products.
Customers’ minds were put to rest during the event about the exhibitor name change and were further reassured that the group is undergoing a transition to keep customers up to date about the change in brand identity. As the saying goes, “there is no growth without change” and to ensure a smoother transition course, the group brought in Mary Kueh, General Manager of S & M, Fine Chemicals and Brian Stagg, Director of S & M, Americas to help with the process.
Realising that it was not an easy task to handle the large tradeshow crowd, which pulled in at least 14,000 participants from over 66 countries worldwide, the company roped in the help of Sharon Ling, Regional Manager, who flew in all the way from her home base in England to provide added technical assistance at the event.
We received traffic for updates on scientific matters, our new grades of DVL 84 Mixed Tocotrienols , and inquiries on our new Naturale3 Bio-Enhanced 20. Our Naturale3 Bio-Enhanced 20 is a readily absorbed version to help the uptake of Tocotrienols into the body. As in other businesses within KLK, RSPO and sustainability continue to be a major issue across all industries, allowing us to deliver a very strong message to the customer based on our strength.
The customers remain hopeful, and are hunger for new items so they were excited to see KLK OLEO and its expanding product line.
