KLK OLEO received the \u201cThriving in Adversity\u201d Award at the Export Excellence Awards (EEA) Gala Night held on 25th November 2022 at M Resort and Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n

Organised by The Star Media Group, EEA celebrates \u201cthe best of the best\u201d in the export world. It honours the excellence of homegrown businesses in export and targets to build a community of Malaysian exporters that excels through healthy competition and support of one another.<\/p>\n

The award was accepted by Mr. Siew Fook Ming, Deputy CEO, on behalf of KLK OLEO. The award honours KLK OLEO\u2019s efforts and tremendous resilience while navigating global headwinds and demonstrating excellence by thriving in adversity during the Covid-19 crisis.<\/p>\n

During the peak of Covid-19 pandemic, KLK OLEO as an approved essential industry, sustained efforts to maintain operations on units of demand, without compromising the health and wellbeing of the staffs – an invaluable asset. It clustered as a unified team, exercising multiple controls in curbing the spread of Covid-19, while operating on key areas of demand. A Covid-19 task force comprising senior management, working closely with its people, was formed across all its sites.<\/p>\n

This award will prove as a catalyst for KLK OLEO to continue excelling in the Malaysian palm oil and oleochemical industry.<\/p>\n
