Job Summary:
The Accounting Executive is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role is essential in managing financial data related to plantation and mill activities, including purchases, production costs, and inventory.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
- Assist in tracking and reporting costs related to plantation operations, harvesting, and milling.
- Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper valuation of raw materials and finished goods.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support the preparation of tax reports and statutory filings.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial records in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary data and explanations.
- Collaborate with operational teams at plantation and mill sites to gather financial data.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting Manager and contribute to process improvements.
Job Success Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in agribusiness or palm oil industry.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Accurate, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to plantation or mill sites if required.

- Familiar with Accounting Software / ERP systems such as:
- Experience with SAP in manufacturing or palm oil industry will be an added advantage)
- Knowledge in budgeting, cost control, expense monitoring, and cost analysis.
