QS Supervisor

Job Summary:

The QS Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), Food and Feed Safety Management Systems, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Halal, Kosher and Sustainability in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations. This role oversees document control, SOP compliance, audit activities, and quality system implementation across all departments to support operational excellence and organizational effectiveness.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and other management systems throughout the organization.
• Monitor compliance with company procedures, policies, and quality standards. 
• Manage, review, and control SOPs, work instructions, forms, and related quality documents.
• Ensure all controlled documents are updated, distributed, and properly archived. 
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits, Support external audits, certification audits, and customer audits. 
• Prepare audit reports and follow up corrective actions. 
• Monitor corrective and preventive action plans from audit findings or operational issues and Ensure timely closure of non-conformities. 
• Support departments in process improvement initiatives, and Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. 
• Conduct awareness sessions related to SOP, ISO standards, Halal, Food and Feed Safety Management Systems, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Sustainability and other management systems implemented in the company. 
• Ensure employees understand and comply with quality procedures.
• Prepare quality system reports, audit summaries, KPI reports, and compliance updates for management review

Job Success Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality System / ISO Management. 
• Experience in manufacturing or palm oil industry is preferred.
• Able to work under pressure and in a plant environment.
• Good in English

Additional Notes / Desirable Skills / Required Skills

• Strong understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.), Food and Feed Safety Management Systems, Halal, Kosher, and Sustainability (RSPO, ISCC, etc). 
• Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS). 
• Familiar with internal audit processes and CAPA. 
• Good document control and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Certified Internal Auditor is an advantage.
