Courtesy Visit to POR and KLKOM by The Belgium Ambassador to Malaysia

His Excellency Mr Pascal Grégoire, Belgium Ambassador to Malaysia, paid a courtesy visit to Palm-Oleo Klang (“POR”) and KL-Kepong Oleomas (“KLKOM”). He was accompanied by Mr Chua Choon Hwa, the Senior Undersecretary of Palm Oil and Sago Development Division from the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities.

Palm-Oleo Klang is one of the world’s largest standalone Oleochemical producers. The plant produces PALMERA Fatty Acids and Glycerine; PALMOSALT Soap Noodles; PALMOWAX Fatty Acid Bis-Amides, and a wide range of PALMOCOL Alkanolamides.

KL-Kepong Oleomas is strategically located in West Port, Malaysia. This allows direct pipeline access from plant to port for fast and effective supply to international markets. The plant is also one of the world’s largest producers of natural fatty alcohols, producing a wide variety of high-quality oleochemical products. They also invest heavily in R&D in response to the industry’s constant evolution.
