Taiko Palm-Oleo (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. (“TPO”) was incorporated in January 2004 and operates an on-site plant at Zhangjiagang, China, manufacturing basic and intermediate oleochemicals. The plant, which was commissioned in 2006, produces PALMERA Fatty Acids and Glycerine, PALMOSALT Soap Noodles, and PALMESTER Triacetin. It is part of KLK OLEO’s global strategy to move into the fast growing Chinese market with the overall aim of enhancing its supply, distribution and services to its customers. The Zhangjiagang main warehouse operates as TPO’s hub in China and is supported by strategic branches and warehousing facilities at various locations in China, namely Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin and Nanjing; each serving customers of a specific region.
