Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) has broad applications in liquid, semi-solid and solid dosage forms. Typical functions of high molecular weight PEGs include lubricant and binder for tabletting, or carrier and plasticiser for hot melt extrusion. They are also frequently used for consistency adjustment in creams and ointments, and can easily be blended with low molecular weight PEGs to achieve desired formulation characteristics. Please refer to related articles section below for further available PEG grades.
Solid PEGs are commonly used in pastille or powder form, each with certain benefits for specific processing environments. Both physical forms are available for our solid PEGs.
As certain processes might require elevated temperatures, our PEG articles are optionally also available with a suitable antioxidant to prevent potential degradation.
